Respected industry figure, John O’Sullivan, joins Osborne Appointments
Osborne Appointments are delighted to announce that recruitment supremo, John O’Sullivan, has joined the board as Non-Executive Director.
During John’s illustrious career he has worked in senior leadership roles within some of the top global recruitment firms across the industry. He went on to found Best International Group, which grew to £130m turnover before he sold it to Spring Group. He now focuses on helping selected high growth recruitment companies acting as non-executive director, strategic advisor or investor, as well as running Elite Leaders, a business forum for owners and directors of recruitment companies.
As Osborne Appointments enters the next phase of growth, John was the ideal person to become a strategic adviser to the Board. His impressive network and inquisitive leadership style, will add an additional layer of knowledge in both recruitment and business, and arms Osborne Appointments with a fresh industry perspective, as exciting plans to develop the service further are put in place.
Michelle Bacon, CEO, commented “This appointment is a real coup for us, and in choosing to join us, it is not only a validation of our approach and the plans we have, but a sign that things are moving in the right direction. It is a great way to begin our 25th year. But we are also conscious that change is challenging and that the recruitment industry is not standing still. With John on-board I am confident that we will be able to successfully deliver our strategic growth objectives, whilst continuing to be an employer of choice.”
John said “Osborne Appointments are a well-established and highly respected recruitment company that do things in the right way. What I will be doing is guiding them through the path I have travelled many times, which is to take the business onto the next level without compromising on quality, integrity or losing the ethos of what has made them successful. I am extremely excited.”
This appointment comes amidst a number of positive changes for the business, and has kick started the 2020 recruitment campaign. More details of this will be released shortly.
