Workshop Setter Operator - to assist the manufacturing team in running the machining department.
Hours: Monday - Friday 8.00am-5.00, Overtime available
We’re recruiting on behalf of a company renowned for providing high quality precision machined components and specialist electro-mechanical assembly projects. Their reputation for excellence was established in the 90s and it reflects the care and pride invested in every aspect of their business. They sub-contract machining facilities for volume and one off-production precision components.
Your role is to ensure that the process set up of the machine is secure and correct to detailed product operation requirements, resulting in the highest levels of quality and care for items being produced.
If tools become broken or damaged, you will need to be able to replace immediately.
There will be a high level of validation and inspection checks carried out and recorded to follow the company quality processes.
Along the line, there are a variety of in-cycle activities to be performed such as deburring., basic maintenance and cleanliness.
The role calls for accuracy in product loading and clamping to make sure everything is secure and that any decay in the function of the equipment that could compromise safety or quality is managed.
