Osborne Appointments are recruiting for an exciting new opportunity to work as a Transport Supervisor, on a Permanent basis, for a well-established client in Enfield

Working hours: Working Mondays to Fridays 09:00 -18:00 (one hour lunch break). On call every other Saturday – To take calls from our drivers or our Call Centre
Salary: £26,000 per annum

Duties

  • Plan vehicle/driver routes and Resolve any driver issues
  • Resolve Call Centre queries via phone and email
  • Print off daily vehicle check sheets and file
  • Check all drivers are filling in Returns reports
  • Check agency are filling in correct paperwork e.g. non tacho driving sheets
  • Monitor driver routes on software  called Transend, check drivers are scanning each item and getting PDA signed and challenge if not complying
  • Add/delete drivers/vehicles on Transend
  • Add/delete vehicles on Insurance database, Dartford crossing and congestion charge
  • Check times drivers are placing tacho cards in tacho machines and report findings to Depot Manager
  • Take notes for investigations and disciplinaries
  • Investigate email issues regarding orders
  • Book in depot maintenance work with depot handyman, and any  Security and fire maintenance
  • Order Ad-Blue
  • Book hire vehicles/cars
  • Check state of vehicles and report findings to Depot Manager
  • Check state of Fork-lift trucks and report findings to Depot Manager
  • Carry out fire alarm test and log
  • Carry out lighting test and log
  • Memos for drivers as per instruction from Depot Manager
  • Driver De-brief
  • General Admin duties around the office, and this canalso include order any uniform required, stationary, tea and coffee, ensure rubbish bin is emptied and chase if not actioned.
