Osborne Appointments are currently recruiting for a Transport Administrator to join our reputable, well-established client based in Letchworth, contributing towards a smooth running of distribution operations.
- Permanent, full time
- £25,000 - £27,000 per annum
- Working hours: Monday – Friday, 8am – 6pm
- Phone calls, emails and Web Chat with customers to ensure expectations are exceeded
- Follow up outbound deliveries
- Use of industry specific software to track/manage orders & dispatch
- Manage and record any issues, such as damaged goods
- Accurate data entry, filing and invoicing
- Identifying opportunities to ensure efficient distribution
- Scanning customer and driver documentation
- Liaising directly with internal colleagues to resolve issues and customer queries
Key Skills & Experience required:
- Transport/logistics experience is not essential, however would be advantageous
- Previous Customer Service/Administration experience
- Outstanding communication skills – written and verbal
- Strong IT Skills, able to learn new systems
- Accurate attention to detail
- Proactive approach to problem solving
