Our client is looking to fill a new Office Manager Superstar position which is desperately needed for an established but growing business. You will be assisting the Operations Director and helping him to be able to delegate as the business if expanding. This will mean taking on a lot of the organising of the office and your peers within it as well as helping to manage a small team of 4. In effect you will be a Sales Office Manager helping to achieve targets set by the company, learning and getting to know the business from the inside out.

This is an exceptionally fast paced role where you will need to know the day-to-day functions of every part of the business. You will be a key member of the team and ready to get stuck in straight away and learn as much as you can in order to fulfil your new role to the fullest.
The new and exciting role within the company will also get you stuck in on the Customer Care side so some experience within this sector would also be beneficial. Some background knowledge of the manufacturing industry would also be an added bonus however this is not crucial. On a daily basis the office is a dynamic and fast changing environment, so the ability to be able to adapt quickly is essential in order to understand customer’s requirements and provide the best service possible. For the right person this is a great chance to carve out a prosperous career.

Other duties may include:

Use a range of office software, including email, spreadsheets and databases, to ensure the efficient running of the office
Develop and implement new administrative systems, such as record management
Delegate work to staff and manage their workload and output
Ability to use, develop and manage day to day reporting
Ability to handle telephone calls preferably within a service organisation or help desk role where departmental results are achieved by teamwork
Problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information is essential
Good I.T, skills and a willingness to learn new systems and processes is required
Excellent oral and written communication skills
