A vacancy has come up within a very successful, buoyant and friendly company based in St Neots. You’ll be working from home but living within a reasonable distance of the office.

They’re industry leaders in the supply and service of medical equipment and their products are used extensively in the Pharmaceutical, Environmental, Biotechnology industries as well as Academia throughout the world.

The Sales Exec’s role is to develop and expand business in their assigned geographic territory by promoting products and services to new and existing clients. The product portfolio is wide and full training will be given so you know everything you need to know.

Reporting to the UK Sales Manager regularly, your role will mostly be based from your home office so you will need to lives around St Neots, Bedfordshire, North-West Cambs and North Herts, ideally. You’ll need to be a reasonable drive away so you can attend meetings and collect items from the office when necessary. You will need a driving licence.

Ideally you’d have a Scientific degree (BSc) in chemistry, biochemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, genetics or microbiology. If not this, then you will have a good understanding of the field and experience from the industry gained previously either through using the products or selling something similar.

If you have familiarity with benchtop laboratory equipment or any form of scientific instruments or consumables, we would love to hear from you!

You will organise your own customer appointments so that you ideally spend 60-80% of your time visiting customers. There is already a large customer base within your territory

You will need to attend trade shows, seminars, exhibitions and other promotional activities on behalf of the company in the UK and overseas - mainly France, Germany and Italy.
