Osborne Appointments are currently working with their Client based in Cranfield. Our client offers over 180 bedrooms designed to suit the needs of the business executive.

The successful candidate will provide a warm welcome and information service to all guests. You will also be ensuring all charges are billed correctly to the appropriate account. It is vital that the successful candidate will exceed customer expectations in providing the highest level of service.

Due to the nature of this role you will have access to a vehicle and be able to work on a rota which will include weekends and bank holidays.   

Duties and Responsibilities:  

Be aware of and to comply with company and legal requirements including health, safety and hygiene.
To efficiently manage and priorities a working shift ensuring that all tasks are carried out in accordance with training and procedures.
To be aware of business capacity and any specific requirements and to liaise closely with all departments communicating effectively any changes that may affect them.
To deliver excellent customer service to all delegates and guests and assist with all enquiries in a professional and welcoming manner.
Assist with processing reservations, amendments, cancellations and no-shows, in line with company policy.
To ensure all information and charges relating to Delegates, Courses and Bedroom accounts are correctly processed using the Front Desk computer system. 
Provide accurate reports for the Management Team and other Departments as required to assist with the daily running of the business.
Must be able to work as an individual, but also be able to contribute as part of a team; attending and participating in Team Meetings. 
To use and maintain equipment in the department as trained and to immediately report any faults to the Reception Manager or Duty Manager.
Ensure that the reception area is maintained as a clean and safe working environment.
To carry out any reasonable task as requested by a member of the Management Team.
