To assist the allocated National Account Manager in achieving the agreed targets for new business sales, quality and activity by providing proactive account support.


  • Support the National Account Manager by building strong relationships with new and existing intermediary firms.
  • Proactive calls to intermediaries to arrange appointments for the account managers and the pre and post work for those meetings.
  • Working with National Account Manager on agreed objectives and activities to maximise sales from the panel.
  • Build a network of contacts across the networks and accounts on panel, and ensure account fact finds are updated with new information.
  • Ensure that adviser lists for the panel are updated regularly.
  • Ensure the marketing distribution list is updated regularly including a joiners and leavers process for accounts.
  • Issue marketing messages to the panel as agreed with the National Account Manager.
  • To conduct thank you calls for new business received.
  • Offer administration support to the National Account Manager to enable them to focus on sales growth.
  • Production of daily/weekly and monthly reports advising the Sales Team of new cases / advisers and their activities.
  • Production of account packs and monthly dashboards for Platinum Accounts, and data for One Page Plans and Retention Frameworks.
  • Use of MI to understand the potential for IP sales overall and at panel level.
  • Maintain IFA database to ensure all records are accurate and kept fully up to date.
  • Supporting Compliance with the agency on-boarding and off-boarding activity.
  • Answering general sales enquiries from advisers/networks by phone and email including product queries.
  • Providing feedback to shape all aspects of the adviser journey, from quote and apply to ongoing engagement and service requirements.
  • Working as a team player within the Sales Team, attending regular team meetings ensuring your peers are kept up to date with all aspects of your role
  • To maintain an awareness of the importance of risk within the Society.
  • To maintain an understanding of – and adhere to - the Data Protection Act, Anti-Money Laundering regulations and all relevant policies and procedures.
