You will be working for an independently owned group of vehicle logistics and fleet management companies with over 25 years experience in the industry operating out of 13 UK sites with their Head Office in Worcester. Their company’s culture is very much based on the principles of support, encouragement and the determination to succeed. This is why you would have a weekly review with your line manager so they can help develop and build your skills.  

We are looking for an enthusiastic coordinator with excellent communication and organisations skills to join their small, friendly and supportive Logistics Team as an Operations Clerk. 

This is a fast-paced role and one which will call for you to work on many different fronts at the same time. You will need to be assertive and confident in communicating with internal departments and realistic about time-scales.

Main Responsibilities:
• Communicate accurate information to the client, customers and drivers.
• Manage and account for a cash float and reimburse all other Depots with Petty Cash requirements.
• Provide drivers with outgoing expenses; receive unused monies.
• Administer the issue and receipt of sundry items.
• Maintain accurate records.
• Brief and debrief drivers on leaving and returning to the depot.
• Generate and issue job cards to the workshops.

Requirements:
• The working hours will based on working shifts which are 5.30am – 1.30pm, 8.30am - 5pm and 12pm – 8pm Monday to Friday.
• Good Organisation with a high level of attention to detail.
