OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR


A fantastic opportunity for a company just outside of Leighton Buzzard, for a really and fun and thriving company.

You will need to have great people skills and be able to deal with clients ranging from blue chip organisations through to small businesses.

You will need to have good computer skills using Microsoft Office and ideally had experience of Act and Sage databases. Some knowledge of paints and fabrics may prove beneficial, but not necessary. You must have excellent organisational skills and be able to prioritise. Attention to detail is a must, as is previous experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities and Duties

Dealing with clients via telephone and email
Process customer orders; both UK and International, via phone and online
Maintain company database
Invoice reconciliation
Interact with people at all levels, both customers and colleagues
Filing and retrieving information and documents
Stock reconciliation
Miscellaneous warehouse duties, helping to pack orders etc
Operate and maintain variety of standard office machines, telephone, shredding machine and photocopy machine.
Ordering and maintaining stationery and office equipment supplies
Reorganise and maintain office filing
Organising and storing paperwork, documents and computer based information
Production of marketing material
Maintain social media accounts

Qualifications and Skills
Essential

Computer literacy and good typing skills using and a variety of computer software packages
Overall good level of IT literacy
Excellent Microsoft Office skills
Good organisational skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Good at prioritising
Accurate with good attention to detail
The ability to show initiative
Strong sense of customer service
Good team player
Focused
Be prepared to undertake a variety of duties and turn hand to all types of tasks where necessary
You must have a “can do” attitude and be prepared to “muck in”
Working within a small administration team (4 People)
Self-confident/works on own initiative
Attention to detail is key
Excellent grammar both written and spoken

Self-motivated

Preferable

Working knowledge of Sage and ACT
Have a driving licence
