The successful candidate will be working Monday to Friday (11pm - 6am) within an extremely busy Engineering role. Your key purpose is to ensure that all plant and machinery is maintained and operates to the highest level of efficiency and safety. As their engineer you must be mechanically bias with electrical understanding and just MUST have worked within the pharmaceutical sector. Due to the nature of this role you must be able to set/change machines along with maintaining them.
Always follow cGMP and relevant Standard Operating Procedures.
Advise of the most productive use of machinery.
Assist in the investigation of complaints, both internally and externally and help in the prevention of recurrences.
Complete all documentation as required by GMP, including filling in machine logs and maintaining a file of machine repairs and modifications.
Assist in the preparation of quotations by providing relevant information and guidance.
Attend and input into the daily scheduling meetings.
Ensuring that Planned Preventative Maintenance System is implemented and followed.

Extensive engineering experience within a production environment
The ability to deliver effective engineering solutions
Proactive in developing improvements to benefit the business
Professional handling of all production engineering issues
Strong organisational skills
Excellent attention to detail when finding engineering solutions and to support production
