Key Role Responsibilities

  • Ability to analyse a large volume of client and lead data, in order to develop multiple campaign themes at any one time 
  • Ownership of defined customer base to work with, with the expectation of conducting full research on market trends that will help with the initial communication
  • Provide weekly, monthly and quarterly reports that track progress to plan
  • Ability to obtain leads through the internet or other social media channels
  • Working closely with the marketing team to ensure you are aware of the outbound marketing activities calendar to capitalise on ‘warm’ leads to convert to sales accepted opportunities
  • Ability to make a large volume of calls daily, with defined KPI’s that are a minimum requirement, ie dials, conversations, new leads added in CRM, meetings or calls for sales person to follow up on, which will be measured daily  & weekly
  • Qualification of opportunities by understanding customer needs, budgets, decision making unit and authority to make a decision
  • Exceptional telephone manner that can understand positive buying behaviours  
  • Use of a consultative sales methodology and overcoming competitive sales objections to positively position the solutions or services
  • Partner with relevant field sales teams to ensure leads are progressed and accepted to ensure KPI delivery
  • Use of CRM to manage all leads, ensuring accurate notes and next steps are recorded

Key Sills, Characteristics and Experience

  • Degree in related field desirable
  • Experience in a volume outbound calling sales experience
  • Ability to work in a goal oriented environment under pressure
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and communication skills a must
  • Experience working with multiple products and services at any one time
  • Confident and polished phone prospecting skills required
  • Outstanding skill in the use of Word, Excel, Powerpoint and email programs
  • Demonstrable organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks
  • Bright, charismatic, positive and committed, with a strong work ethic and high levels of energy and honesty
  • Hungry, motivated outlook with an minimum personal expectation of achieving set targets
  • Detailed understanding of the companies proposition and value
