I am recruiting for an internal sales account manager to join an established company in St Neots that sells IP based, security and network products and solutions.

Responsibilities of the internal sales account manager include:

  • Focusing on growing, meeting and exceeding departmental revenue and gross profit targets.
  • Ensure all quotations and enquiries are maximized by:

      a) Ensuring cross/up selling is being conducted and 

      b) That they are all followed up efficiently and effectively. 

  • Have the ability and willingness to self-develop in terms of product and vendor knowledge to ensure that the majority of quotations and queries can be resolved efficiently and effectively.
  • Increasing the number of customers who purchase across multi-product revenue streams.
  • Ensure that following training a sound understanding of partner vendor programmes and associated discounts are understood and retained.
  • Sharing of product knowledge to working colleagues.
  • Administration of quotations and orders including the registration of project opportunities.
  • Updating of the company CRM system as required to ensure that the relevant contact information is up-to-date where this is found to be incorrect, also to utilise this system for the setting of tasks.

Skills required:

  • A technical aptitude
  • Sales and customer service driven
  • Ability to process orders and quotations timely and efficiently.
  • 2+ years sales experience

Salary and benefits

  • Salary - £22k - £24k plus bonus up to £9k OTE
  • 22 days holiday a year, with Christmas shut down on top and the option to buy up to 5 days per year
  • option of a healthcare cash plan and group life assurance as well as
  • auto-enrolment in pension scheme
