Assistant HR Business Partner

Full Time – Permanent

Milton Keynes



Exciting opportunity to work for a large company within Milton Keynes! Our client is looking for a forward thinker who enjoys a challenge. This role is to assist and challenge the managers within the business to help manage their teams. You coordinate and process payroll and HR, whilst adhering to company policy and procedure.  Offering  FREE parking, 21 days annual leave – increasing with service  and a health cash plan.


  • Employee database is updated accordingly, as required by staff and management

  • Assist managers with the recruitment process, i.e. interviewing and offering

  • Help managers with performance reviews and any required training for staff members.

  • Monitor and maintain HR KPI’s through reports

  • Run the staff monthly payroll and Year end

  • Ensure the company is adhering to Best Practice

  • Review salaries monthly to remain competitive i.e. assist with pay increases and bonus

  • Review all company staff benefits both present and future

  • Keep up to date with changes in legislation and law.

  • Ensure that you and all staff members comply with policy.

  • Coordinate several events throughout the year

  • Carry out any other duties when requested

  • Maintain employee relations throughout the company.

The Person:

  • Level 7 CIPD qualified or equivalent

  • Proven experience in HR Generalist capacity

  • Experience in Payroll processing

  • Be a team Player

  • Have strong interpersonal skills
