Senior Finance Team Leader wanted!!!

Osborne Appointments are currently recruiting for one of our established clients based in Borehamwood. The role is to be responsible for the effort and results of a small financial department in a busy food trading office.

  • Computer proficient
  • Understanding of international reporting requirements and compliance

Duties

  • Overseeing financial department in day to day operations
  • Preparation of monthly financial statements/Month end journals
  • Create monthly and annual reports – identify results, trends and financial forecasts
  • Managing cash flow and cash flow forecasting
  • Maintaining financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and legislation
  • Preparation of data for year end external auditors
  • Assisting with budget processes
  • Examine all financial reports and data for discrepancies
  • Create or improve systems to improve financial reporting processes and accuracy
  • Preparation of weekly trading reports
  • Booking, controlling and reconciling foreign exchange forward contract cover
  • Reporting to head office and dealing with other subsidiaries in respect of financial matters
  • Bank statement reconciliations
  • Overseeing the maintenance of fixed asset register
  • Nominal account reconciliations (accruals, prepayments, control accounts)
  • VAT and Intrastat reporting
  • Overseeing credit control
  • Overseeing the management of customer account details, credit limits and supplier invoices
  • Costing of incoming containers
  • Overseeing the processing of staff expenses claims and company credit card bills

Hours – Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm

Salary - £45,000 - £55,000 negotiable depending on experience

Location – Borehamwood
