We have a really good opportunity available for a qualified Electrical Engineer looking for work around the Stone, Staffordshire area.
Reporting in to the Senior Technical Manager, your role can be at any level as they can utilise any level of experience so if you're seeking a starter role or a senior level post, let's talk!
The company are the world's best provider of specialist medical equipment. Their products are in laboratories across the entire globe. Managed from their base in Stone, the handle new product development, product improvements and specialist equipment.
The new Electrical Engineer will be responsible for testing the performance of the product range against the automated controls and specifications. You will generate gap analysis from drawing to product , review same, compile the reports and summaries.
You'll determine risks and gaps and prioritise any upgrades or improvements that are needed.
Part of your role is also around implementing any upgrades that need to be carried out.
The ideal candidate will come from a background across heating, cooling, peltiers etc but we will certainly look at any candidate from other backgrounds as the skills are very transferable.
Ideally you will have previous experience in:
* Heating, cooling, printed heaters, heat cartridges, peltiers or similar.
* Process control
* Understanding of PID proportional-integral-derivative controllers and associated applications
* Product compliance such as LVD Low Voltage, EMC Electromagnetic Compatibility directive and CE marketing for Medical devices or in vitro diagnostic devices
This is initially a one year contract. The role is available to start as soon as you're able. Salary will be flexible. We can pay you on a contract or temporary basis depending on your preference. Salary-wise, we are flexible as we understand the vacancy will attract a variety of applicants so we are happy to take your guidance on the rate you would like to work for.
