Description

Osborne Appointments are recruiting for fantastic new role for a Disputes Case Handler within a large organisation based in Borehamwood. There is huge potential within this company, where hard work is recognised.

The role will require the successful candidate to deal with tenants and other parties in the event of a dispute over the return of the deposit at the end of a tenancy agreement. The role will involve assessing deposits, dealing with and chasing rebuttals and preparation of cases for the adjudication.

Hours of work – Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5.30pm

Salary - £17,000 - £19,000

The key duties for this role include –

  • Proof reading of internal and external adjudications and requesting payments
  • Dealing with escalations
  • Manage relevant casework through an online and manual disputes system  
  • Respond to all dispute calls and emails
  • Achieving KPI’s
  • Effectively deal with the laid down rebuttal chasing and debt recovery  process
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with Members

Skills Required –

  • Driven and self motivated
  • Ability to implement solutions to problems
  • Good planning and organisational skills
  • Excellent time keeping
  • Able to meet deadlines
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and the ability to learn new systems and processes
  • Able to work in a team environment/be a strong team player
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A high standard of customer service skills with an excellent telephone manner

Experience/Education Required –

  • Experience of working in a property ,dispute, legal or claims environment
  • Educated to a minimum level of GCSE or equivalent
  • A – C Pass in GSCE Maths and English
