Are you used to working in an Engineering environment?
Can you manage up to 20 road-based fitters all needing directions and diaries sorting?
Can you answer the phones whilst typing up quotes, taking messages and responding to texts?
Can you meet and greet visitors and be the Ambassador at the door?
If so, we need you immediately!
As you can see, this role calls for someone with super multi-tasking skills.
Every day is different, every call is different, every quote is different.
After thorough training there will be days when you're in the office alone managing the needs of the clients and the team as well as organising the diaries of the 2 directors.
The key skills will be:
Good phone manner
Great message taking
Able to ask comprehensive questions
Good admin skills
Filing, photocopying, faxing
Responding to emails
Checking weather forecasts so you can organise equipment to be delivered to sites across the UK
Creating information packs
Working with a part-time office manager, you will deliver a first class administrative support to a team of around 30 people in this medium sized manufacturing environment.
