My client is looking for an Accounts and Production Assistant to join their small family company in Borehamwood on a temporary to permanent position.

Working full time: 

Monday to Thursday 9.00am to 5:30pm
Friday 9:00am to 4:00pm
1-hour lunch break

Job Description:
? Reporting line split between accounts manager and sales administrator
? Administration utilising company software management system – SAP Business One

Accounts:
? Raising sales invoices and credit notes
? Running monthly statements
? Dealing with customer invoice queries
? Posting all bank receipts (BACS, cheques, credit cards, PayPal and cash)
? Credit control
? Opening new customer accounts including credit checking
? Ongoing credit checking to ensure cover is in place with credit protection agencies
? Posting supplier invoices onto SAP
? Checking supplier statements
? Reviewing open goods receipt purchase orders and chasing missing supplier invoices
? Maintaining pretty cash

Production:
? Creating production orders for stock and fit work onto customer vehicles
? Raising purchase orders with suppliers and chasing outstanding orders
? Checking future order report daily and placing purchase orders accordingly
? Ensuring all paperwork is scanned and saved onto SAP against the corresponding
documentation
? Update open sales orders to accurately reflect supplier delivery dates and notify
customers of delays
? Send delivery notes to suppliers where shipments are being made direct to customers
? Place orders with suppliers but ensure prices are competitive by conducting price
comparison checks
? Raise service calls with customers
? Provide customers with updates on repairs and advice of any cost increases

What we want from YOU!
? Self-starter
? Good at prioritising workload
? Strong administration background and ideally experience working in finance
? Able to meet the demands of two different areas of the business, identify priorities and
deliver tasks on time accordingly
? Can build and maintain strong customer and supplier relationships (internal/external)
? Exceptional communication skills, cheerful personality and team player
? Commercial acumen as both a buyer and credit controller
? Confident and organised with a methodical approach
? Demonstrable IT skills, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Web, Supplier
Portals, etc.
? SAP Business One experience would be advantageous
? Located within an hour commute of the Borehamwood premises
