An urgent booking was received from one of our corporate global clients. They needed a Learning & Development Specialist on an interim basis to start within two weeks. The vacancy was based outside of our normal geographical locations, in Gatwick.
Our Welwyn Garden City Perms team immediately sprang into action and using their extensive candidate pool began to search for suitable qualified applicants. A shortlist of candidates was identified, and for those unable to attend a face to face meeting, interviewed via Skype.
The booking was received on the Monday.
A suitable candidate was identified in Scotland. He was telephoned interviewed on the Wednesday and Skype interviewed on the Thursday.
The candidate travelled down to meet the client the following Monday and started on the Tuesday.
Our longstanding Financial Services client in Milton Keynes had an urgent requirement for 100 permanent Customer Service Advisers due to winning a large contract. We had been the supplier of choice with this business for the previous five years.
OA Milton Keynes set up a dedicated Account Management team to manage the project. We set up a bespoke telephone interview to shortlist the candidates and conducted eighteen Assessment Centres on behalf of the client.
Working in partnership with the client we managed the full onboarding process to ensure all numbers were delivered.

Back in 2004, Osborne Appointments were one of two recruitment suppliers to a leading wholesaler based in Hatfield.

Our client is one of the UK’s largest International mail & parcel specialist and have two large sites based in Bedford. Our Bedford office has supplied temporary and permanent staff to them since 2015. We regularly supply temporary warehouse staff on a day to day basic to ensure the fulfilment centre runs smoothly and we have placed numerous permanent candidates with them. Sadly the client was forced to close one of their operations in December 2017.
The Bedford team worked closely and sensitively with the client to ensure all affected staff were made aware of the local job market and provided CV writing guidance and interview advice by running a number of open mornings on site for all the staff to visit our consultants and discuss their next career steps
