Q. What forms do I need to bring to my registration?

A. One form of ID – Passport or full British birth certificate
Proof of National Insurance Number – Card, P45 or Payslip
Proof of Home Address – Utility Bill or Bank Statement
EU – Home Office documentation or application (if applicable)

Q. Do you accept a driving licence as a proof of identification?

A. No we need to see your original passport or birth certificate

Q. When do I get paid?

A. You will be paid Friday weekly in arrears directly into your bank account.

Q. What happens if I change address or bank account?

A. You must notify Osborne immediately and we will update our records with the correct data.

Q. How do I report an absence?

A. Firstly, call your dedicated Consultant at Osborne Appointments at least 1 hour
before your shift is due to start. Out of courtesy you may want to call the client to advise, however we will ensure that this is done.
Failure to call Osborne Appointments prior to your shift will result in your hourly rate being reduced, as low as national minimum wage.

Q. Am I entitled to holiday pay?

A. Yes, you are entitled to 24 days holiday in a full 12 month period. Holiday pay must be taken within a year of the temporary workers start date. Any outstanding holiday pay can not be carried over.

Q. How do I record my hours worked?

A. Your consultant will advise you of these details prior to the assignment. In most instances, you will be required to complete a timesheet.

Q. How do I record holidays?

A. Holidays should be recorded on your timesheet. Make sure that you indicate clearly which days were taken as holiday by writing “Holiday” or “Annual Leave”.

Q. Am I paid for breaks?

A. This is at the discretion of the client; however any breaks taken should not be included as hours worked.

Q. Where can I find my timesheet?

A. Your Osborne consultant will give you, your weekly timesheet alternatively you can download a copy timesheet by clicking on one of the links on this website.


Q. I currently live overseas. How do I register?

A. As a person living overseas we are unable to process your application until you reach the UK. All candidates are required to attend a face to face interview with one of our consultants prior to working for Osborne Appointments.
