Our prestigious client is currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor which will be a temp to perm role for thirteen weeks starting as soon as possible.
The aim of the role will be to manage all financial aspects of contracts from budgets to final account ensuring profit margins are maintained.
They are looking for a self motivated, enthusiastic person who has commercial awareness.
You will be a team player with good organisational skills and good problem solving skills.
You will need to be computer literate with a flexible approach to your work and environment.
You will need the ability to make decisions in a fast paced environment.
Having an understanding of drawings will be an advantage.
Desired qualifications and knowledge are :-
(RICS or CIOB/IOB or HNC/HND/Degree within construction or other relevant qualification) – QS/AQS
CITB Health and Safety Test
CSCS Card
Road Risk
Manual Handling
Asbestos Awareness
Applicants need to live within 20 miles of Northampton.
