Job Description
We are currently looking for a Cook for a local Day Nursery in Hertford. You will have 2 years minimum proven experience in catering, a basic food hygiene certificate, the ability to work as a team and working under pressure and in an organised way.
Ideally you would have experience within a childcare environment.
You will maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the kitchen and be responsible for the preparation of food for all children taking into account any special dietary requirements in line with agreed menus and cleaning of the kitchen equipment.
You will maintain monthly records for stocktaking and ensure adequate storage conditions.
All applicants should either hold a CRB or be willing to apply for one at time of registration.
